Job summary

Metronet is hiring a Business Account Executive in Killeen, TX or Copperas Cove, TX. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and onboarding, delivering tailored fiber solutions to businesses in a fast-growing market.

The role demands 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecom or technology, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Travel may be required; in-market presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within territory.
• Conduct discovery conversations to uncover customer needs and tailor solutions.
• Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution and onboarding.
• Leverage Salesforce and other tools to inform sales approach and prioritize opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, pipeline activity, and deal progression.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation and satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and activity benchmarks in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in regular IBMs with Sales Manager to review performance and goals.
• Share market insights and customer feedback to shape strategy.
