Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Storage Specialist Solutions Architect to join the Startups and SMB team. You will act as a subject matter expert for AWS storage services, crafting sophisticated solutions and guiding enterprises through large-scale migrations to the AWS cloud.

You will collaborate with field Solution Architects to provide guidance, develop white papers and reference architectures, and help accelerate cloud adoption with a customer-centric approach across organizations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software, cloud, systems engineering, or security.
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• Experience with cloud architecture and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• 7+ years in server, storage, networking, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for account teams and customers.
• Represent the voice of the customer to influence product roadmap and features.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock critical business challenges.
• Deploy storage and data strategies with depth in both technology and business impact.
• Share best practices through blogs, whitepapers, and reference architectures.
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define technical components of GTM concepts.
• Develop and support an internal AWS storage SME community worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials to help SA teams integrate AWS solutions.
