Job summary

The Lead Instrumentation Coordinator at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center oversees daily operations between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments to support efficient case flow. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities between OR and Sterile Processing to improve case flow.
• Ensure sterilized instruments are packaged and delivered aseptically to the OR.
• Coordinate tray movement logistics and standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Monitor OR schedule to prevent delays in instrumentation processing and delivery.
• Provide clinical orientation and education to CSS Technicians and Instrumentation Coordinators.
