Job summary

ReadMe is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own enterprise accounts and drive successful implementations across San Francisco, New York, Columbus, or Remote (US). You will be the primary technical and strategic contact, solving complex integration questions, and collaborating with Engineering and Solutions Architects.

You will guide onboarding, adoption, renewals, and expansion, while leveraging AI workflows to automate repetitive tasks and improve customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience owning enterprise accounts end-to-end and driving adoption.
• Ability to read OpenAPI specs and debug client integrations in code.
• Strong familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS and web auth flows.
• Proficient with Git and CLI-based tooling; comfortable with engineering teams.
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows to automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own a book of enterprise accounts from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Lead customer calls: kickoffs, working sessions, QBRs, escalations.
• Serve as product SME and troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
• Prototype solutions with ReadMe CLI, API, OAS files; hand off to Eng.
• Develop AI-driven workflows to increase efficiency and insights.
• Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with Sales.
• Advocate for customers and relay feedback to Product/Engineering.
