Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with customers and cross-functional teams to drive growth and monetization opportunities. You will build trusted advisor relationships with executives and technical leaders, architect end-to-end solutions, and expand Stripe’s footprint across global markets.

You will lead complex opportunities, map customer roadmaps, and articulate how Stripe’s platform can transform business models.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing engineering role (solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer) for global software enterprises.
• 5+ years in pre-sales.
• Experience in payments/billing/invoicing/banking/Fintech space.
• Strong executive engagement with senior decision makers.
• Proven ability to facilitate customer meetings and lead strategic sessions.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and API architectures; coding background is a plus.
• Outstanding communication skills in English; able to articulate concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define customer strategy and be a key Stripe account team member.
• Identify and close complex opportunities; align with product roadmap.
• Engage CIO/CTO/COO/CRO/CDO and other leaders; present solutions.
• Design end-to-end customer transformation journeys and roadmaps with integrations.
• Conduct market/background research to support growth in customers’ business.
• Lead strategy engagements with customers and secure technical wins.
• Expand Stripe footprint to new markets by introducing capabilities and local payment methods.
• Act as Voice of the Customer to inform leadership, product, and engineering.
• Participate in forecasting and account planning; travel ~25% for in-person engagement.
