Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Solutions Architect to build highly consultative trusted relationships with C-level and technical decision makers. You will architect business models to drive monetization opportunities and growth for both the user and Stripe.

You will lead strategy engagements, define customer roadmaps, and design end-to-end architectures with deep 3rd party integrations. Approximately 25% travel is anticipated to connect in person with users and collaborate internally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in a customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant or solutions architect.
• 5+ years in pre-sales.
• Experience in payments, billing, invoicing, issuing, or fintech space.
• Executive engagement skills with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of an account team with deep involvement in defining customer strategy.
• Identify and close complex opportunities and accelerate solution adoption.
• Engage with CIO/CTO/COO/CRO/CDO and Head of Product Engineering to advise and drive outcomes.
• Design end-to-end solutions and roadmaps with deep 3rd party integrations.
• Conduct business analysis and market research to support growth.
• Lead strategic engagements with customers through briefings, workshops, and demos.
• Expand Stripe footprint to new markets and units with new capabilities and local methods.
• Act as Voice of the Customer to inform leadership and product teams.
• Participate in forecasts, QBRs, and territory planning.
