Bilt Rewards in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer. You will lead enterprise partner integrations from scope and design to build and go-live, embedding with partner teams to deliver production-ready features in Java, with the opportunity to influence long-term maintenance and expansion.

The role requires deep API proficiency, strong technical communication, and comfort working across multiple engagements with fintech, payments, or loyalty platforms.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years hands-on engineering across multiple engagements.
• Strong Java proficiency; Spring Boot/REST experience a plus.
• Hands-on API/auth fluency: OAuth/OIDC, webhooks, versioning.

Responsibilities

• Own partner integration projects end-to-end.
• Write production-quality Java code.
• Translate solution designs into implementation plans.
• Embed with partner engineering teams as primary technical contact.
• Debug cross-system issues in real time with partner engineers.
• Maintain and expand engagements after go-live.
• Create developer resources and documentation.
