Job summary

Broadcom seeks an Account Director in Plano, TX to drive revenue for existing Enterprise customers within the Broadcom Software portfolio (VMware, CA Technologies, Symantec). This quota-carrying role requires daily in-office presence and leadership in account-based selling to senior-level executives.

You will manage opportunities, build trusted relationships, and craft strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets, with access to equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant years' experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 12+ years' experience in a customer-facing B2B role or equivalent education/experience.
• Prior experience in meeting/exceeding sales quota.
• Strong understanding of a value-based sales approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and win sales opportunities within assigned Enterprise accounts.
• Manage a pipeline of active deals to sustain long‑term book‑of‑business growth.
• Develop and execute long‑term account plans (Annual Business Plan, Quarterly Territory Plan).
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision makers.
• Communicate Broadcom's Enterprise Software capabilities and IT business impact to customers.
• Demonstrate proficiency in proposal creation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
