Job summary

CoStar Group seeks a Sales Engineer to support Matterport’s platform in the Arlington area. This senior technical role acts as a trusted advisor for complex engagements, shaping architectures, security posture, and go‑to‑market solutions.

The role reports to the regional Sales Engineering leader and travels up to 50% as required. You will own high‑impact technical engagements, drive proof‑of‑concepts, and mentor others while collaborating with product, security, and legal teams to align customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years supporting B2B SaaS solutions in a pre‑sales or technical support capacity.
Demonstrated enterprise‑level impact and executive communication skills.
Experience with APIs, SDKs, and custom integrations, including prototyping with JavaScript and GraphQL.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, security architecture, and authentication technologies.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical authority for assigned sales opportunities across inside, field, and major accounts.
Advise executive stakeholders on architectural decisions, security posture, integrations, and platform strategy.
Lead advanced solution architectures, custom integrations, and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
Mentor Sales Engineers and contribute to onboarding and development frameworks.
Lead security, privacy, and compliance discussions with customers and partners.
