Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Senior Director, Risk Officer to lead DNTB’s Enterprise Risk Management program, reporting to the President and the Audit & Risk Committee to ensure an effective risk framework aligned with strategy and risk profile.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders and regulators to translate risk priorities into scalable programs, driving continuous improvement while maintaining independent risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in banking, financial services, enterprise risk, operational risk, or related risk management.
• Experience developing, implementing, operating, or improving risk management programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with ability to translate risk requirements into practical programs.
• Ability to provide independent challenge while collaborating across functions and driving initiatives to completion.
• Experience leading employees and communicating risk matters to senior management, Board committees, and/or banking regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and maturation of the ERM program, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, issue management, escalation, and reporting.
• Maintain and evolve the Risk Appetite Statement, KRIs, thresholds, and escalation mechanisms, and assess alignment with strategy and risk profile.
• Prepare and present risk reporting to the President, management committees, ARC, and Board, including material and emerging risks and remediation status.
• Provide independent risk monitoring and collaborate with leaders to develop mitigation strategies and resolve risk issues.
• Conduct risk assessments for new products, services, partnerships, and significant initiatives.
• Own ERM work products: policies, risk assessments, GRC capabilities, issue management, reporting, and related automation.
• Partner with Compliance, Credit, Finance/Treasury, Technology, Information Security, Operations, Legal, Internal Audit, and others to support ERM.
• Lead ERM engagements with OCC and regulators, including examinations, information requests, and remediation of observations.
• Lead and develop the ERM team, with clear priorities and accountability for execution.
