DNTB is seeking a Senior Director, Risk Officer to lead the Enterprise Risk Management program and provide independent risk oversight for the Bank's strategy and regulatory expectations.
The role partners with executive management and the Audit & Risk Committee to translate risk priorities into scalable programs, reports, and actions across the organization, including one direct report and ongoing improvements to risk processes.
The Senior Director, Risk Officer is responsible for leading, executing, and continuously evolving DNTB’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. This role provides independent risk oversight and partners with the President, executive management, and the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) to ensure DNTB maintains an effective risk management framework appropriate for the Bank’s strategy, size, complexity, and risk profile.

The role translates the approved risk strategy and appetite into scalable programs and provides recommendations on how DNTB’s risk framework should evolve in response to business strategy, growth, emerging risks, and regulatory expectations.
The successful candidate will be an execution-oriented risk leader who combines sound independent judgment with collaboration and practical problem-solving. Success will be measured by the effectiveness of DNTB’s ERM program, the timely identification and management of risk issues, the quality of management and ARC reporting, and the ability to translate risk priorities into sustainable execution.
