Job summary

WeDriveU seeks a Director of Risk Management to lead the enterprise risk and compliance program across multi-state transportation operations. You will partner with Operations, Safety, Legal, and Finance to identify risks, strengthen controls, and ensure audit readiness.

The role requires translating complex regulatory requirements into practical operating procedures, driving accountability, and reporting risk to executives. Travel to company locations and customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, transportation, risk management, or related fields.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, compliance, transportation, safety, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulatory requirements and multi-state operations.
• Experience coordinating audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Willingness to travel regularly to company locations and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise risk and compliance framework across the organization.
• Oversee regulatory, contractual, and customer risk with governance across functions.
• Lead audits and monitoring programs; track findings to closure with timely actions.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Safety, Operations, and Procurement for risk mitigation.
• Represent the company with regulators, customers, and external partners.
