Job summary

NLP Logix in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Change and Release Manager to own the end-to-end release process for enterprise engagements, coordinating with Engineering, QA, Product, Client Success, and Support to ensure releases are planned, communicated, and executed smoothly.

This role requires occasional evenings and weekends, with a focus on identifying risks, writing release notes, and maintaining logs and post-release summaries while improving release practices as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in release/change management or related client-facing technical role.
• Experience working with Engineering, QA, Product, DevOps or other technical teams.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to translate technical info into business language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational abilities.
• ITIL certification and working knowledge of Agile/Scrum or formal change management.
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings, late nights, or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end change and release process for assigned client engagements.
• Manage release calendar, sequencing, readiness reviews, dependencies, and go/no-go decisions.
• Coordinate testing, documentation, communication, and rollback plans across teams.
• Write clear, client-ready release notes and change communications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during release windows and go-live events.
• Provide timely status updates and support client communications during releases and incidents.
• Build trusted relationships with client technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify risks early and elevate concerns with context and next steps.
• Maintain change logs, release documentation, and post-release summaries.
