Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Enterprise Engineer I in San Diego to bridge technology and business needs for mid-market clients. You will design strategic network solutions, prepare technical proposals, and ensure seamless integration of Fiber Internet Access, Private Networking, Voice and Cloud services.

You will collaborate with sales teams, Engineering and Operations to cost solutions, present proposals, and guide customers on implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• CCDA or CCNA or other comparable industry-recognized certification.
• 3+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in the telecom or service provider industry.

Responsibilities

• Design complex voice and data network solutions, including topologies and technical specs.
• Prepare pre-sale conceptual designs and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to review, approve and cost solutions.
• Compile project cost elements and IRR analyses for Finance approval.
