Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to act as the subject matter expert and solution architect for instructor‑led, virtual, cohort‑based, and blended learning solutions. You will partner with Sales, Client Partners, Product Management, and Delivery teams to design scalable learning solutions addressing workforce transformation and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong consultative skills with deep understanding of learning products and delivery models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, consulting, solution architecture, or workforce development.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor‑led and virtual instructor‑led training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into measurable learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary solutioning lead for live training opportunities across enterprise clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify business objectives, workforce challenges, learner audiences, and success metrics.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable live training solutions, learning journeys, and implementation approaches.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales teams during opportunity qualification, proposal development, and executive presentations.
• Demonstrate the value of live training within larger workforce transformation and skills development programs.
• Develop tailored recommendations that balance customer outcomes, delivery feasibility, and commercial objectives.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Pearson's instructor‑led training, virtual delivery, certification programs, coaching offerings, skills assessments, and workforce solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for live training products and learning pathways.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and portfolio enhancements.
• Support the development of repeatable solution bundles and go‑to‑market offerings.
• Contribute to sales enablement assets, playbooks, proposal templates, and client‑facing collateral.
