Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to act as a subject matter expert and solution architect for instructor-led and virtual training across Pearson’s enterprise portfolio.

The role collaborates with Sales, Client Partners, Product Management, Training Operations, Customer Success, and Delivery to design scalable learning solutions addressing workforce transformation and leadership development. A strong consultative background and knowledge of learning products are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, HR, learning & development or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, or related areas.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into measurable learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary solutioning lead for live training opportunities across enterprise clients.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable live training solutions and learning journeys.
• Partner with Sales and Delivery teams during opportunity qualification and proposals.
• Develop tailored recommendations balancing outcomes, feasibility, and commercial goals.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Pearson’s instructor-led training and certification programs.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify market opportunities and portfolio enhancements.
• Support development of repeatable solution bundles and go-to-market offerings.
• Contribute to sales enablement assets, playbooks, and client-facing collateral.
• Lead internal training and enablement on live training offerings.
