Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to act as the subject matter expert and solution architect for instructor‑led, live training across enterprise clients. You will partner with Sales, Client Partners, Product Management, Training Operations, Customer Success, and Delivery to design scalable learning solutions that address workforce transformation and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, HR, L&D, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, consulting, or workforce development.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor‑led and virtual instructor‑led training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into measurable learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary solutioning lead for live training opportunities across enterprise clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify business objectives, workforce challenges, learner audiences, and success metrics.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable live training solutions, learning journeys, and implementation approaches.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales during opportunity qualification, proposal development, and executive presentations.
• Demonstrate value of live training within workforce transformation and skills programs.
• Develop tailored recommendations balancing outcomes, feasibility, and commercial goals.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Pearson's training offerings and learning pathways.
• Act as a SME for live training products and learning pathways.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify market opportunities and portfolio enhancements.
• Support development of repeatable solution bundles and go‑to‑market offerings.
• Contribute to sales enablement assets and client‑facing collateral.
