Job summary

Pearson seeks a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to act as SME and solution architect for instructor‑led and virtual training. This role partners with Sales, Client Partners, Product Management, Training Operations, Customer Success and Delivery to design scalable learning solutions that address workforce transformation and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate blends consultative skills with knowledge of learning products, delivery models, and enterprise education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, learning & development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, consulting, solution architecture, or workforce development.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary solutioning lead for live training opportunities across enterprise clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify objectives, workforce challenges, learner audiences, and success metrics.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable live training solutions and learning journeys.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales during opportunity qualification, proposal development, and executive presentations.
