Job summary

Pearson is seeking a commercially minded portfolio leader to own the learning offerings for Knowledge Suite and Pearson Live Training. You will drive commercial strategy, pricing, and go-to-market plans, while coordinating with sales, delivery, and partner teams to ensure measurable value for enterprise clients.

You will analyze market opportunities, define the portfolio roadmap, and apply AI to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a related commercial role.
• Experience contributing to or managing revenue, pricing, or P&L outcomes.
• Strong data fluency with evidence-based decision making.
• Experience with customer discovery and strategy translation.
• Ability to influence across functions and engage senior buyers.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Build current insight into transformation, career success, technology skilling, and AI-enabled transformation.
• Analyze competitors and adjacent offerings to sharpen differentiation.
• Develop and propose vision and strategy for both offerings, including AI enhancements.
• Define effective learning outcomes and what great performance looks like for employees.
• Build and maintain the portfolio roadmap with priorities for leadership review.
• Define requirements and success metrics with design and learning teams.
• Partner with product management and technical teams to align roadmaps with customer needs.
• Use outcomes data to improve portfolio and decide when to invest, evolve, or retire learning.
• Apply AI tools in portfolio work, including prototyping and hypothesis testing.
• Develop pricing, packaging, and business cases for executive review.
• Equip sales with narratives, ROI stories, and client materials.
• Gather client feedback to inform strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Coordinate across functions to support decision-making in a matrixed environment.
• Contribute offerings to planning cycles and leadership forums.
