Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Manager, Learning and Development to lead enterprise-wide training strategy across sales, manufacturing, logistics and corporate functions. You will oversee the LMS, vendor relationships, and a suite of leadership, technical, compliance, and sales training programs to strengthen the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in L&D, strong instructional design, and experience with multi-site manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years related learning and development experience, or equivalent combination with emphasis in instructional design and leadership development.
• Proven expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design applied to multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing and delivering sales training and leadership programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide L&D strategy and multi-year roadmap across functions.
• Design leadership development, management training, and career development programs.
• Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and build training for hourly and salaried associates.
• Own the LMS strategy, course catalog, tracking, and reporting on learning effectiveness.
• Facilitate onboarding and new-hire training to accelerate productivity.
• Source and manage external training vendors and content providers.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to measure learning impact on engagement and performance.
• Manage the L&D budget and support talent management and workforce planning.
