Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a software engineer for its Enterprise team who will design and deliver bespoke integrations with Whatnot's APIs to support our largest sellers. You will work directly with enterprise customers and internal teams to translate needs into scalable, automated solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, internal tooling, and improving onboarding and customer success as Whatnot scales its live commerce platform globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to work with customers directly and translate needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and data synchronization.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership in ambiguous areas.
• Familiarity with e-commerce or operational systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement bespoke integrations leveraging Whatnot's APIs and platform capabilities.
• Translate seller needs into scalable solutions while collaborating with engineering, product, and account management.
• Build durable tooling, workflows, and internal operational tooling to scale onboarding and support.
• Address post-sale technical challenges and define future support for enterprise commerce.
