Job summary

Whatnot is seeking an Enterprise Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Engineering team. You will work directly with enterprise sellers and their tech teams to design, implement, and support bespoke integrations on Whatnot’s APIs and infrastructure.

This role blends coding with customer-facing collaboration to enable seamless onboarding and scalable solutions. You will partner with engineering, product, and account management to translate requirements into durable tooling, automation, and

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Comfort working directly with customers and translating needs into solutions.
Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems and data synchronization.
Ability to work across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with e-commerce or operational systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement bespoke integrations leveraging Whatnot’s APIs and platform capabilities.
Translate seller needs into scalable solutions while collaborating with engineering, product, and account management.
Build durable tooling, workflows, and support infrastructure for enterprise onboarding and integration support.
Engage in hands-on coding to develop scalable integration solutions and internal tooling.
