Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Experience Architect on the Solution Design team to join our global project delivery organization supporting enterprise customer implementations. You will design, validate, and document end-to-end solutions that balance customer needs, platform capabilities, and delivery feasibility.

You will work with Delivery Managers and Technical Architects, translate requirements into buildable designs, and drive design workshops.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of solution design, architecture, or technical consulting in SaaS or professional services.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale collaboration, workflow, or integration solutions.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Delivery Methodology and Slack/Slack AI capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve ambiguity.
• Excellent communication for translating design decisions to stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with integration patterns and API-based architectures.
• Collaborative mindset to work with Delivery Managers and customers.
• Curiosity and willingness to share design knowledge.
• Familiarity with Salesforce products and Slack integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own solution design across Discover, Define, and Design stages within Salesforce Delivery Methodology.
• Evaluate Slack/Slack AI capabilities vs. custom configuration for simplest viable path.
• Partner with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and stakeholders to align scope and timeline.
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, functional specs, and configuration workbooks.
• Lead design workshops and drive validated solutions.
• Surface risks early and coordinate cross-functionally to mitigate delivery impact.
• Improve design practices and reuse patterns, incorporating AI-native tooling.
• Identify integration points with Salesforce products and design cross-cloud solutions.
• Support post-launch adoption by addressing change management and maturity.
