Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking an Enterprise Developer Advocate to create a new motion focusing on education-first technical sessions within our largest accounts. You will design and run sessions, build internal champions with the field, and surface expansion opportunities, starting as a pilot and scaling based on results.

You will engage engineers, run credible sessions, and measure outcomes to inform future playbooks. This role requires deep enterprise software experience, 12+ years, and ~25% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of related experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Experience with feature management, experimentation, observability, or agent orchestration tooling.
• Built a customer-facing technical program (workshops, DevDays, office hours) from scratch.
• Deep enterprise software background and understanding of large engineering orgs.

Responsibilities

• Design the Enterprise Developer Advocacy program from pilot to repeatable practice.
• Deliver education-first technical sessions to target accounts.
• Build internal champions and hand off to the field.
• Maintain credibility by keeping sessions non-promotional, education-first.
• Instrument pilots, readouts, and adjust strategy based on data.
• Define scalable playbooks as the motion proves out.
