Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Developer Advocate to turn signups into successful teams and activate users across trials and developer tiers. You’ll build AI-assisted outreach workflows, create tutorials and content under your own name, and partner with Growth and Product to refine targeting, onboarding, and outcome-focused playbooks.

You’ll engage engineers, solve install issues, and drive adoption of features like SDKs, experimentation, observability, and guarded releases, while shaping the future

Qualifications

• Developer advocacy experience or customer-facing role
• Ability to troubleshoot SDK integrations
• Empathy for developers and a problem-solving mindset
• Comfort with AI-assisted tooling and automation
• Strong writing, video, and live-session communication
• Comfort with ambiguity and shaping new motions

Responsibilities

• Activate high-intent signups from trials and developer-tier users, guiding them to live SDK implementations
• Provide helpful, personalized outreach and resolve installation or usage issues
• Create tutorials, videos, and posts under your own name to build a public developer voice
• Produce first-success content and run sessions to demonstrate platform value (experimentation, observability, guarded releases, AI configs)
• Build AI-assisted outreach workflows and usage analysis to scale support beyond routed leads
• Report on activation progress, signals predicting success, and inform targeting, scoring, and onboarding
• Route conversations to sales, support, or product as appropriate
