Fivetran is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Enterprise to join our Field Engineering team in New York City. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to our largest customers, helping them evaluate and adopt dbt, and expand their use of the platform across their organizations.

You'll partner with Sales to translate complex data requirements into scalable solutions, lead enterprise evaluations, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partners to drive measurable value throughout the

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Understanding of modern cloud data warehouse architectures
• Translate technical requirements into concrete solutions with measurable outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers, mapping requirements to outcomes
• Design enterprise-grade data transformations using dbt
• Collaborate with Sales to communicate value of the dbt platform
• Lead customer evaluations and proof-of-value engagements
• Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and executives
• Guide architecture, security, governance, and deployment considerations
• Support adoption and identify expansion opportunities
• Provide product feedback to influence roadmap
• Partner with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and others in the data ecosystem
• Share best practices within Field Engineering and dbt community
