Job summary

Fivetran, a leader in data integration, seeks a Solutions Engineer, Enterprise in New York City. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to large customers, designing dbt-based analytics architectures and guiding adoption across the customer lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to demonstrate measurable value, lead technical evaluations, and ensure successful deployment with partner ecosystems. This full-time role sits in NYC.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales engineering or solutions architecture in data/BI.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience designing enterprise data architectures.
• Ability to translate technical requirements to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers, linking requirements to business outcomes.
• Design enterprise-grade data transformation architectures using dbt.
• Partner with Sales to communicate value of the dbt platform.
• Lead evaluations and validation including trials and proofs of value.
• Build trusted relationships with data practitioners and executives.
• Collaborate across lifecycle for adoption and expansion.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on roadmap.
• Forge partnerships with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and others.
