Job summary

Fivetran, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Account Executive in Austin, TX to drive growth in our data infrastructure offerings.

You will own the full sales cycle from lead to close for our prospects and organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise, while collaborating on shaping the sales process and roadmap. You will become an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations, engaging with stakeholders from developers to CTOs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years closing experience in technology sales.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into a consultative sale.
• Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
• Ability to navigate long, multi‑client sales cycles with diligence and organization.
• Willingness to learn SQL or experience with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for our prospects.
• Organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
• Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process.
• Collaborate with product to shape the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
• Develop deep expertise in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations.
• Engage actively with the dbt open source community.
