Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Sales Director to drive enterprise sales across the US. This remote, NY-based role focuses on building out our enterprise customer base and leading chances with prospects and growth opportunities for clients.

The candidate will own the full sales cycle, lead POC implementations, and collaborate with product to shape the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap. Strong SQL and analytics experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years closing experience in technology sales.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a consultative sale.
• Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Diligence and organizational skills for long, intricate sales cycles.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to learn SQL or have SQL experience.
• Experience with analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software is a plus.
• Knowledge of dbt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead to ongoing utilization for enterprise prospects.
• Organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise; win 20 new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers per year (after ramp).
• Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process.
• Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
• Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations.
• Be an active member of the dbt open-source community.
