Oracle is seeking a Data Platform Sales Representative for the Higher Education sector in the Mid-Atlantic to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives and strategic engagements with universities and university systems.

The role focuses on selling cloud, analytics, AI, and database platform solutions across IaaS/PaaS, coordinating with sales teams and partners, and driving long-term business value within research, administrative, and academic organizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• BS/BA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end cloud products and solutions across IaaS/PaaS.
• Manage account plans to drive goal attainment in assigned territory and coordinate with sales teams and partners.
• Engage with relevant partner to meet customer specifications and become a trusted advisor to key influencers and decision makers.
• Drive company strategy into assigned accounts and follow methodologies for sales opportunity pursuit.
• Ensure completion of sales programs in the territory, with personal follow-up and engagement in opportunities.
• Exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for cloud and on-prem solutions. Travel as needed.
• Lead and mentor others as a team member and leading contributor in complex, non-routine work.
• Requires 5+ years of related experience; BS/BA preferred.
