Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a broad cybersecurity architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead security strategy, governance, and incident response, ensuring regulatory compliance and resilience for an enterprise‑grade logistics operation.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, deep knowledge of frameworks, and hands‑on expertise with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and cloud security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or computer science.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership in architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments, including network, cloud, and data protection.
• Oversee security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management) integration.
• Develop risk assessment and incident response frameworks.
• Collaborate with leadership to define risk appetite and governance.
• Mentor cybersecurity engineers and analysts.
