Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement a comprehensive security program across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will guide governance, risk management, and incident response while aligning with business objectives and industry standards.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in security architecture, threat intelligence, and DevSecOps practices to protect critical logistics systems and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and extensive cybersecurity experience.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Experience leading security architecture in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network and cloud security.
• Architect and implement security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop a governance framework of policies and standards.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on risk appetite and incident response.
