Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain enterprise security strategy. You will lead secure architectures, implement controls across on‑prem and cloud, and guide incident response while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with executives to define risk appetite and champion secure development across IT and operations, supporting business continuity.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership roles.
• Strong background in security architecture across network, cloud, data, and endpoints.
• In-depth knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001 frameworks and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, IAM, and data protection.
• Oversee security controls in on‑prem and cloud infrastructures with defense‑in‑depth.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage vulnerability and incident response programs.
• Collaborate with executives to define risk appetite and incident response plans.
