Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement enterprise security strategies. You will guide risk-based decisions, lead governance, and ensure resilience across on-prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include leading security architecture, coordinating with legal and IT teams, and mentoring engineers while aligning with NIST/ISO frameworks and industry best practices. A strong leader with 10+ years in security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network security, cloud architecture, endpoint security, identity and access management, and data protection.
• Oversee security tools and platforms (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management) integration into the enterprise IT architecture.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework and incident response plans.
