Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead risk assessments, implement controls, and guide incident response while aligning with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Responsibilities include developing security strategy, coordinating with legal and IT teams, and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• Expertise in security architecture, cloud security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, IAM, and data protection.
• Establish governance, policies, and standards for security practices.
• Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and threat monitoring.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
