Job summary

Focus Financial Partners seeks a Configuration Manager to own the enterprise CMDB capability and governance, partnering across Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Service Desk, and application teams to mature ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping aligned to the roadmap.

The role leads data standards, controls, and audit readiness, ensuring trustworthy configuration and service data while embedding data practices across IT processes and service offerings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in CMDB/ITSM/infrastructure operations.
• Experience improving CMDB in complex enterprise.
• Hands-on ServiceNow CMDB, lifecycle, and data governance.
• Knowledge of CSDM and related data models.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and run enterprise CM operating model, governance, data standards, controls, and evidence.
• Own CMDB class strategy, lifecycle states, ownership standards, and relationship models.
• Govern identification and reconciliation rules, source precedence, and data quality.
• Set measurable CMDB health targets for completeness, correctness, compliance, freshness, and duplicates.
• Govern Discovery, Service Mapping, cloud, endpoint, and approved data sources for CMDB.
• Lead practical modeling of applications, services, and CIs with CSDM alignment.
• Embed CMDB data into incidents, changes, requests, problems, and other processes.
• Maintain procedures, certification evidence, and audit reporting.
• Serve as business/operational owner for ServiceNow CMDB capabilities and lead testing.
• Facilitate governance forums and manage partnerships with vendors and data-source owners.
