Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an Associate Business Development Manager for Digital Innovation to drive customer engagements and shape the program.

You will coordinate with sales, solutions architecture and partners to translate engagements into prototypes and scalable cloud solutions. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer-facing digital innovation or consulting, 3+ years in business development or product management, and a BA or higher.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer-facing digital innovation or equivalent consultative-selling role
• 3+ years of business development, consulting, product management, or IT solutions development experience
• Education – BA or above required

Responsibilities

• Develop line-of-business relationships with leading innovators within customer organizations
• Work with Sales to identify and qualify customers for the Digital Innovation program
• Facilitate workshops with customer executive groups
• Create and manage project and program level documentation for engagements
• Lead and coordinate translation of those solutions into working cloud prototypes, working with relevant engineering and services teams, and partners where appropriate
• Build value propositions/ business cases
• Collaborate with sales teams to help qualify customers
• Lead a digital innovation engagement
• Effectively track and articulate the value of engagements underway, and major wins
• Help develop and improve the Digital Innovation engagement model based on engagement experience
• Work with the Partner team to identify, engage and enable partners who can accelerate our approach to digital innovation
• Conduct customer briefings, present at events, assist on AWS thought leadership in the innovation domain
• Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
• Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market
