Enterprise Analytics Delivery Lead

We are seeking an Enterprise Analytics Delivery Lead to oversee the end‑to‑end implementation of data and AI solutions across the organization. The role involves managing program and product lifecycles, building relationships with business stakeholders, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.

Position Concept

The Enterprise Analytics Delivery Lead leads the delivery of high‑value data and AI solutions. They oversee the implementation or enhancement of analytic dashboards, reports, and data extracts to support strategic objectives, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and innovation. They serve as a shared service function for TEC and PGS, enabling the business to extract insights from data and AI assets.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the delivery lead for data and AI initiatives, managing all phases of implementation (planning, requirements, design, build, test, deploy) and supporting business case creation, prototyping, functional requirements, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder communication. - 20%
  • Establish an SME‑level understanding of data and AI solutions for assigned business areas, including roles, operation, data quality, and governance expectations. - 20%
  • Contribute to the enterprise data analytics strategy, researching industry trends and recommending changes. - 10%
  • Build relationships with business and data leaders to understand strategic plans and provide transparency into analytics strategy and roadmap. - 10%
  • Collaborate with partners to understand challenges and explore data product and AI solutions. - 10%
  • Monitor and track usage, adoption, and value of data solutions for assigned areas. - 10%
  • Maintain a backlog of potential improvements and prioritize changes to maximize business value. - 10%
  • Support other departmental activities as needed (storms and emergency management, procurement, etc.). - 10%
Supervision
  • Direct Supervision: Functional members of analytics delivery teams including SCRUM Masters and Data Analysts
  • Indirect Supervision: Technical members of analytics delivery teams, including Data Engineers and Testers
Relationships
  • Key Internal: Business, Data, and IT leaders across TECO and Emera affiliates
  • Key External: Contractors, Vendors, Industry Associations
Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree with a concentration in a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Preferred: Credentials demonstrating breadth of knowledge in data science, AI/ML, information management, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM).

Experience

  • Required: 6 years related work experience in business relationship management, program management, and/or data product lifecycle management.
  • Preferred: Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., electric/gas utility).
  • Supervisory Experience: Preferred: 3 years leading project teams.

Working Conditions

Some extended working hours, including overnight and weekends, and out‑of‑town travel may be required.

Storm Duty Requirements

Team members are required to participate in response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our customers. Work in normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures. Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment.
