Job summary

Profound is hiring an Strategic Engagement Manager to own a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers. You will serve as the senior strategic advisor, navigate escalations, and deliver board-level outcomes while mentoring other Engagement Managers.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to guide customers through the future of AI search, driving measurable value and risk mitigation across marketing programs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years working with enterprise or strategic customers to drive complex outcomes.
• Proven ability to own engagements with multiple stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Excellent communication skills to advise, present to, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, high-visibility situations and create new approaches.
• Experience in the search or marketing industry.
• Mentor Engagement Associates and newer Engagement Managers to improve playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact and senior advisor for 5–10 strategic enterprise customers.
• Own the full customer journey from onboarding to driving measurable outcomes with the Profound platform.
• Lead multi-stakeholder engagements and manage escalations to restore alignment.
• Conduct strategic business reviews with executives and identify opportunities while mitigating risk.
• Build deep understanding of customer objectives and coordinate across marketing, operations, product, and exec teams.
• Advise customers on AI Search strategies grounded in platform data and model behavior.
• Mentor team members and improve playbooks and templates used by the broader team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to resolve complex technical challenges.
