Job summary

Sierra in San Francisco seeks a highly capable GTM-focused Sales Engineer to lead pre-sales, design compelling demos, and articulate business value for enterprise customers. You will drive technical alignment across Sales, Product, and Agent Engineering to ensure wins and scalable solutions.

In this role you will guide technical reviews, own customer conversations, and ensure accurate, customer-centered proposals using AI tools judiciously.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
• Experience in building and presenting demos for GTM strategies.
• Proven ability to build relationships with executives and technical leaders.
• Experience leading sales cycles with Enterprise customers.
• Ability to map customer problems to Sierra solutions and explain to technical/non-technical audiences.
• Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly in technical sales, with clear attribution.
• Bachelor's degree or above; CS or related fields a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end GTM technical pre-sales process from scoping to demos to reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering teams to drive GTM and improve Agents via customer-driven product development.
• Lead and support customers in early conversations, understanding needs and shaping solutions.
