Job summary
Sierra in San Francisco is seeking a GTM-focused Sales Engineer to own the technical pre-sales process, scope customer use cases, and demonstrate Sierra’s platform to prospects. You will collaborate with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering to refine our offering while guiding customers from first contact through enterprise engagements, ensuring value is clear to both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
- Experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process by scoping customer use cases, articulating business value, designing and demoing Sierra’s platform, leading technical and architecture reviews, and serving as the trusted technical expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Cross-functional work with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering teams to drive GTM and improve our Agents through customer-driven product development.
- Lead and support our customers as a GTM and technical leader in early conversations, understanding and anticipating their needs to advance our AI solution.
