Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Pre-Sales Architect to become a trusted technical advisor for large enterprises, guiding the value and deployment of Claude within complex tech stacks. You will co-own strategic accounts, build executive champions, and drive multi-quarter adoption roadmaps.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable cloud architectures, design evals, and win-win technical outcomes while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in roles such as Field CTO, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Product Manager, with hands-on building experience.
• Experience working with enterprise customers, navigating complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders
• Experience owning named or strategic enterprise accounts through long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles
• Exceptional ability to build relationships with and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including C-suite
• Strong technical communication skills translating requirements between technical and business audiences
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
• Comfortable with Python
• Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools or ML/data science background
• Excitement for cross-organizational collaboration and balancing priorities
• Love of teaching and mentorship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences
• Passion for safe, beneficial AI and advancing steerable AI

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to enterprise customers through evaluation and deployment.
• Build executive technical champions and drive multi-quarter adoption roadmaps.
• Work on Claude API and Claude for Enterprise integrations with customer environments.
• Create and deliver technical content tailored to different audiences.
• Reproduce customer environments in your own builds to prove production paths.
• Collaborate with Anthropic engineering to feed customer needs into the product roadmap.
• Guide architecture decisions and help integrate Claude into existing stacks.
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude performance.
• Identify common integration patterns and share insights with Product/Engineering teams.
• Travel occasionally for workshops and deep dives.
