Job summary

Anthropic, based in San Francisco, seeks a Strategic Account Executive to lead frontier AI platform adoption in retail and commercial banking. You will grow revenue by securing enterprise deals and becoming a trusted advisor to banking stakeholders, embedding AI into customer service, underwriting, risk, and operations.

The role requires building C-suite relationships, orchestrating multi-stakeholder deals, and collaborating with Product and Marketing to sharpen the value proposition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in retail or commercial banking.
• Track record of quota attainment in enterprise sales of technical products (API-first platforms, cloud, data/ML, or enterprise SaaS).
• Experience building C-suite relationships within retail and commercial banking.
• Operational rigor across multi-stakeholder sales cycles with accurate forecasting.
• Credibility with CIOs/CTOs/Heads of AI/ML and collaboration with solutions architects and applied AI teams.
• Genuine interest in deploying AI responsibly and advancing Anthropic’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic, high-value accounts across retail and commercial banking, carrying and exceeding revenue targets.
• Engage with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders to build business cases and navigate procurement and regulatory reviews.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities, build account plans, and convert relationships into revenue.
• Run a disciplined pipeline with clear next steps and coachable execution across a long-cycle book.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships to design solutions and translate needs into product input.
