Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Deployment Manager in San Francisco to guide customers from contract signature to production deployment across Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and API products. You’ll connect Claude to identity providers, provision access, and ensure right security policies are in place for successful adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles with enterprise deployments.
• Experience with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations.
• Hands-on identity integration: SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and JIT provisioning across two major identity providers.
• Experience advising CISOs/IT leadership on governance for SaaS/AI platform.
• Security/compliance knowledge (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Designed, shipped, and measured programs that serve many customers at once.
• Data-driven and metrics-oriented with early success tracking.
• Comfort building in ambiguity and scaling templates.

Responsibilities

• Own activation journey from contract to production deployment cross-functional coordination.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO, SCIM, JIT provisioning and access controls.
• Advise CISOs/CTOs on governance and enterprise setup for SaaS/AI platforms.
• Enable and govern identity connectors to customer systems and manage approvals and OAuth consent.
• Design scalable activation frameworks and templated playbooks.
• Package successful activations into repeatable, self-serve motions.
• Develop change management strategies and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Define and track key metrics like activation rate and time-to-value.
• Relay customer insights to Product, Support, and Security teams.
