Job summary

Pythian seeks an accomplished enterprise sales executive to drive transformational AI and data services for Fortune 1000 customers. You will own territory, build a robust pipeline, and close complex managed services deals with CAIO/CDO/CTO/CIO audiences.

Leverage deep partnerships with cloud hyperscalers and OEMs while leading cross-functional resources to deliver compelling business cases and scalable data foundations for production AI. Remote-friendly, Chicago area preferred.

Qualifications

6+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with a quota track record.
Active experience selling Data & AI services — managed databases, cloud data platforms, AI strategy, or production AI.
Demonstrated ability to sell managed services and navigate procurement for recurring-revenue engagements.
Experience co-selling with hyperscaler or OEM field teams (Google Cloud, Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, or similar).
Strong internal project management instincts to orchestrate cross-functional resources.
Hunter’s instinct for new logos combined with the ability to grow existing accounts.
Polished enterprise presence with the ability to engage at VP/C-suite level.
Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.

Responsibilities

Build and execute a territory plan with a disciplined mix of new logo hunting, inbound conversion, and account expansion.
Maintain a robust, forecasted pipeline in Salesforce; provide weekly pipeline reviews and revenue projections.
Develop targeted account strategies for key prospects in enterprise verticals.
Identify and pursue net-new logos while deepening relationships with existing accounts.
Lead discovery and solution conversations around Production AI and AI automation with enterprise buyers.
Articulate how modern data estates enable scalable AI and cost efficiency.
Sell the business case for Database Managed Services and DBA Support.
Help clients understand the Data Foundations to Production AI journey and entry points.
