Job summary

Open is seeking a Customer Engineer to bridge enterprise customers with the company.cx product. You will respond to inquiries, lead onboarding, debugging integrations, and ship fixes in a Node.js + TypeScript stack.

You’ll also drive prompt engineering to maximize AI agent value for customers. You will work directly with enterprise stakeholders across US, EU, MENA, and GCC time zones, delivering rapid, high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
• Experience shipping production code and debugging in SaaS apps.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents and prompt engineering.
• Customer-facing technical work such as onboarding, integrations, or support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical bridge between enterprise customers and the product team.
• Lead onboarding, configuration, and third-party integrations.
• Respond to customer queries via Slack and video calls; own issues end-to-end.
• Ship fixes and enhancements directly in Node.js/TypeScript codebase.
• Collaborate with product engineering to share customer context and priorities.
• Develop deep platform expertise in AI agents and prompt engineering.
