Job summary

Recruiting from Scratch LLC is seeking a highly technical, customer-facing engineer to support enterprise customers from onboarding to production deployment. You will work with developers and engineering teams to understand architectures, integration needs, and reproduce complex issues across APIs, SDKs, and sandbox infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering or related customer-facing technical role
• From a developer tools, cloud infra, or platform engineering background
• Strong programming ability in at least one language and production-grade code debugging
• Hands-on with REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI tooling
• Solid understanding of containerization, Docker, compute environments and cloud infra
• Experience working with engineering teams at customers to integrate products into production
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Able to manage multiple customer engagements and inquiries simultaneously
• Familiarity with modern AI development workflows and agented systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical partner for enterprise customers from onboarding to production deployment
• Collaborate with developers and engineering teams to map architecture and integration needs
• Reproduce, triage, and resolve customer issues across APIs, SDKs, and sandbox infra
• Build minimal reproduction cases to isolate root causes in production
• Coordinate with core engineering to drive fixes into production
• Support CI/CD pipelines, agent workflows, AI coding environments, and developer infra
• Help customers design reliable implementations using APIs and tooling
• Translate complex infrastructure behavior into clear guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in technical discovery and scoping with prospective customers with GTM
• Identify recurring issues and feature gaps, feeding feedback to Product/Engineering
• Improve documentation, debugging workflows, and support tooling as the customer base grows
• Manage multiple enterprise engagements with clear prioritization and follow-through
