Job summary

QTS, a global leader in digital infrastructure, seeks an Enterprise IT Support Engineer I - A/V to support conference rooms and mixed AV spaces in a hybrid environment. You will configure, test, and maintain AV systems and assist with network-related AV tasks.

The role requires 3+ years of AV experience, familiarity with Teams Rooms, IP networking, and event AV operations; US citizenship is required for federal contracts. Join a team delivering cutting-edge data center solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of A/V experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms or related product configuration management.
• Proficient with audio visual components, integrations, management and design.
• Solid understanding of IP networking.
• Experience running AV systems for events: Audio, Video, Lighting, and Web Stream.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, operate, and tear down AV equipment including video conferencing, microphones, cameras and audio systems.
• Meet with internal/external customers to gather meeting requirements and recommend AV options.
• Coordinate and troubleshoot hybrid and remote VC meetings and events.
• Assist in design, installation, configuration and commissioning of AV integrated systems.
• Run Help request problem tickets and troubleshoot AV malfunctions, escalating to vendors as needed.
• Track and maintain stock levels of AV equipment.
