Job summary
AVI-SPL is recruiting a Senior Event Support Engineer to lead and deliver top-tier on-site AV support for executive meetings and hybrid events across client spaces and the Executive Conference Center. You will manage complex AV systems, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure production-ready environments with rigorous troubleshooting and testing.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of enterprise AV experience, strong certifications, and excellent communication skills to support
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional AV experience in enterprise conference centers or live production spaces
- Strong experience with Zoom Rooms, Q-SYS, Dante, NDI, digital audio consoles, video switchers, PTZ camera systems, IPTV, and enterprise AV networking
- Advanced troubleshooting across AV hardware, control systems, networking, and signal distribution
- Excellent communication skills with executive leadership and high-profile event support
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for executive meetings, client events, town halls, and hybrid productions
- Operate and support production-grade AV systems including audio mixers, video switchers, PTZ cameras, Q-SYS DSP/control, Dante audio, NDI, IPTV, and AV-over-IP systems
- Own daily operation, readiness, and preventative maintenance of the Executive Conference Center and spaces
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of AV, networking, control systems, audio, and video signal flow; act as escalation point
- Conduct pre-event testing, technical rehearsals, onsite support, and post-event system validation
- Coordinate with AV Engineering, Workplace, IT, Networking, vendors, and stakeholders for event success
- Maintain system documentation, firmware, inventory, and standards; identify improvement opportunities
- Support commissioning of new AV systems and deployment of enterprise AV standards
