Job summary

Duval County Public Schools is seeking a Supervisor of District Enrollment Services in Jacksonville, FL. This role oversees enrollment operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, data integrity, and exceptional family service.

Responsibilities include coordinating enrollment activities, supervising staff, analyzing enrollment trends, and collaborating with district departments to optimize processes and resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years experience in public school setting with a broad knowledge of magnet programs.
• Administrative experience required. Demonstrated ability to establish goals, manage projects, and design, develop, and implement programs.
• Must have good analytical and technology skills. Must have ability to manage large budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve service through systems analysis and improvement and staff development.
• Collaborate with school leaders to identify and promote available student seats to meet student demand for school programming and to maximize enrollment at every school.
• Coordinate enrollment services activities to ensure accuracy and proficiency with processes and optimize deployment of staff resources particularly in peak demand periods.
• Ensure enrollment practices comply with district policies, state requirements, and applicable federal regulations.
• Supervises and trains assigned staff, conducts performance appraisals, makes employment and discipline recommendations, and coordinates work assignments.
• Monitor the student enrollment data to identify enrollment trends; prepare routine reports for review and analysis.
• Monitor complaints and customer service concerns to identify areas for improvement of processes while clear expectations for timely responses to families, schools and other departments.
• Assists with the annual special assignment application processes.
• Serves as liaison for enrollment with various district level departments, schools, and the community to improve enrollment processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
